Sponsorship Contract Clause

Editorial Independence & Non-Influence
The Sponsor acknowledges and agrees that:

Sponsorship support is provided solely for operational sustainability, community coverage, or capacity-building purposes.
The Sponsor shall have no right to direct, influence, approve, or veto editorial content, story selection, tone, or publication decisions.
Sponsorship does not guarantee content volume, frequency, prominence, or specific outcomes.

Non-Endorsement

Sponsorship shall not be construed as:

An endorsement of the Sponsor by Borneo Uncovered; or
An endorsement of any published content, opinion, or viewpoint by the Sponsor.

Political Neutrality
The Sponsor confirms that sponsorship is non-political in nature. Borneo Uncovered retains full discretion to ensure compliance with media neutrality standards, including during election or sensitive civic periods.

Indemnity & Liability
The Sponsor agrees that Borneo Uncovered shall not be liable for interpretations, reactions, or third-party use of published content. The Sponsor shall not hold Borneo Uncovered responsible for public responses arising from independent editorial work.

Termination
Borneo Uncovered reserves the right to terminate sponsorship agreements if continued association may reasonably compromise editorial independence, public trust, or regulatory compliance.
